We hang board with as few seams as practical. We run sheets to minimize butt joints and stagger them so walls stay flat. Screws are set to the right depth on the right pattern, and openings are cut clean around boxes and windows. Moisture-resistant or fire-rated board goes wherever code and your plans call for it.

Taped, Coated, and Sanded to Paint-Ready

Once the board is up, we tape every seam and corner. Then we build it up with fill and finish coats feathered wide so the joints disappear. We sand and inspect between coats. Our standard is a Level 4 finish, and we go to Level 5 where big windows and raking light demand it, so your painter starts with a clean, consistent surface.

Q Do you handle the full drywall scope on new builds, or just part of it?
Both. We can take a new home from delivery and hanging through taping, finishing, and texture. We can also step in for a single phase if your build already has a hanging crew lined up.
Drywall comes after framing, rough-in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, and the insulation inspection are complete. We coordinate with your superintendent so board arrives and goes up as soon as the house passes.
Most average-size new homes take roughly two to three weeks from hanging to final sand. The exact time depends on square footage, ceiling heights, texture, and drying conditions. We give you a clear timeline with your estimate.
Level 4 is our standard for walls that will get flat or eggshell paint. We recommend Level 5 for large windows, tall walls, and rooms with strong side lighting, where every imperfection would show.
Yes. We install moisture-resistant board in bathrooms, laundry rooms, and other damp areas. We use fire-rated Type X board at garage walls and ceilings, and anywhere else local code or your plans require it.
